Each house we build represents a family and a story. That’s why we take the time to get to know you, so that we can build a home that perfectly fits the vision of your life. We take care in building our custom homes and make sure that we give you not just a house, but an extension of you and your family. From start to finish, we build your custom home alongside you every step of the way.

Step One: Meet

Initial Meeting & Introduction

This first step is the beginning of your custom home building journey. Here at Pregio Homes, we like to get know each of our clients on both a professional and personal level so that we can ultimately give you the very best home possible. At our initial meeting, we will review your needs in a new home, discuss location and preliminary design ideas. We also like to use this time to get an idea of your budgetary goals for your new home.

Land Assessment

Your land/lot will dictate a large number of influences on your home design and costs.  Let us help you realize the potential of your land and help identify any challenges that can be avoided as early in the process as possible. One of our main charges is to provide you with information so that you can make good decisions for you and your family. You can find out more about our Lot Assessment Services here.

Step Two: Planning to Build Your Home

Limited Services Agreement (LSA)

The next step in our home building process requires putting together a Limited Services Agreement. This agreement allows Pregio Homes to work collaboratively with you and on your behalf to develop the information needed to produce a contract to build. Some of these items include:

  • Architectural Design
  • Structural Engineering
  • Soils Testing
  • Specifications
  • Budgeting
  • Preliminary Schedule

We will collect a fee for this service and to fund the various professionals at this time.

Step Three: Building Your Home

Contract to Build

Once we have developed all of the information with you for your new home and we are ready to move forward to the actual construction, we can now perform a contract to build. At this point, we will collect a small deposit and obtain the needed permits as you complete any financing or planning needed.

Construction of the Home

All of the planning and decisions you have made on paper are ready to come to life as we begin the actual construction of your new home on your land. This is an exciting time when final finish decisions are made, the walls go up, the roof goes on, and what once was just a drawing is now your beautiful home. During this process, we will guide you through every phase with regular on-site meetings and coordination of your finishes and design. The length of construction will vary with every home and we will provide detailed scheduling and updates continuously throughout the process.


When we are done with the construction, we will guide you a through an explanation of how all the systems work in your home, safety features and review the home for completion.  Once you move in we will schedule a 30 day review, just to be sure that any questions you may have are answered and handled promptly. We also like to be proactive and schedule a review at 6 months and at 11 months in case your new custom home has anything that may need attention.
